Lord Frost puts his foot down, telling devolved nations to consult the UK government first before communicating with the EU.

Due to the heads of the devolved nations in the UK previously having secret meetings with the EU Commission and other EU officials, David Frost, in a letter, has now put his foot down saying that any private communications going to the EU needs to go through the UK government first.

This approach tries to effectively conduct the UK’s “international affairs” with Brussels, making it clear he didn’t want secret back door contact.

Let’s hope Sturgeon can keep to that request.

LORD Frost has put his foot down and warned devolved nations not to approach the EU in private without consulting with the UK Government.
