Pub Landlord hits the airwaves tearing into Starmer who “has utterly failed us as the Leader of the Opposition”.
SIR KEIR Starmer was blasted by a passionate Labour-supporting pub landlord who had supported Labour all his life.
The landlord said Starmer had failed generations of Labour voters who have traditionally been poor, working-class and disenfranchised in society. These people have been some of the worst-hit during the Covid 19 lockdowns.
The landlord named Rod Humphyris took part in an interview with TalkRADIO soon after the confrontation where he said: “He should be talking about all the evidence that lockdown is a mistake.
“It is his job to challenge the Government. He has utterly failed.
“One of the reasons I was angry is that fundamentally I am a Labour voter.
“He should be representing the old, the young, the poor and the disadvantaged. These are the people that have been hurt by this most.
“It is his job to represent them, and he has failed.”
Before the clash between the Landlord and Starmer, Rod said: “I had heard that the Labour Party were coming round and he turned up, and I told him what I thought of him, basically.
“I think he has utterly failed us as the Leader of the Opposition. He has completely failed to ask the questions that needed asking, like, why did we throw away our previous pandemic preparedness?
“Why have we just accepted lockdown?
“Why have we just accepted the loss of all our freedoms?”
Rod has a point. We are no Labour-supporting site, and this discussion blog has always said Labour have been an abysmal opposition in this crisis.
You can be a constructive opposition without attacking, but making sure that the right questions are asked and keeping check that freedoms are not taken away under the name of a crisis.
Even now, as we are coming out of the Lockdowns, Labour are still yet to support or oppose the vaccine passports or fight for the return of our rights and freedoms. Instead, Labours silence is defanging.
It seems Keir is just another globalist puppet that is already bought and paid for with a preplanned set of agendas in place. People, including those in Labour, are seeing through his salesman style mantra and are switching off.
