POLITIKING COMMENT

This row over diplomatic status shows one thing, the UK doesn’t recognise the EU as a sovereign nation under the Vienna Convention, which is correct the EU isn’t sovereign over Sovereign nations in the EU.

The EU claims that countries in the EU are individual sovereign nations, yet when it suits the EU mask slips with them demanding full diplomatic privileges for their ambassadors because they see themselves as a sovereign body over the EU’s states. It can’t be both. The question is, Are the UK right to revoke diplomatic privileges for EU ambassadors?.
